Lionel Boxed Set No. 847W w/ 225 Loco 2235W Tender 2758 2755 ++

Here is a very sought after and fairly hard to find set of Lionel late prewar Trains. Set No. 847W from 1941. The set includes a No. 225 loco with its matching No. 2235W tender, a No. 2758 boxcar, the No. 2755 gray Sunoco tank car, a nice No. 3651 dump car and a No. 2757 caboose. Also n RCS, a No. 167 Controller, a box of clips and some paperwork.  All in their individual Boxes with the rare Set Box.

As you can see from the many pictures below, this set is in beautiful excellent plus condition. A couple of condition notes: The engine runs in forward and reverse. Tender whistles. Overall the freight cars are beautiful. The Boxcar does have a small warp to both ends. The tank car has 100% decals. Has its typical small warp to the middle of the frame. The Caboose does have a loose top of its coupler. The boxes do have some missing flaps and some tape repair. I believe you can see all from the pictures, however, any questions let me know. The 2755 box is beautiful brick-like with interior lining. Set Box is how you want it - nice and firm, good label and no tears. A great looking late prewar set of Lionel "O" gauge trains.  Buy with confidence. Thanks.
