High Grade Lionel No. 2242 New Haven F3 AB Diesel Engines + BOXES (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a very nice set of Lionel F-3 Diesels you won't see very often. These are the New Haven No. 2242 A and B units. Comes with their original BOXES. These are in excellent plus to like new condition - as seen in ALL the pictures below (and please click the link above to view ALL the photographs on my site prior to bidding). The powered unit looks almost perfect. The only thing I see is a small rub on a fan top, and some oxidation on the outside of the battery cover and on front pick-up. Runs well in forward and reverse. The battery compartment is clean. The non-powered unit is in similar condition. It has a very small mark on the roof that was hard to photograph, but if you click the link above you will see some pictures where I was able to pick it up. It is negligible. Nice bright silver and white. The powered unit Box has some wear along one edge. The "B" Unit box is missing its insert, has one tuck flap that is repaired, and a couple of small repaired tears (see pics). Overall a nice clean collector quality set. Don't miss.
