Lionel Train Set No. 1626W, 208 AA, 3428, 2412, 2416 +

Here is a nice Passenger set of Lionel "027" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 1626W from 1959. It was called the "Santa Fe Diesel Passenger Set". It features the No. 208 Alco Santa Fe Twin "A" Diesels in blue and gold. Also, included is the Illuminated Blue Striped - No. 2412 Vista Dome Santa Fe Passenger car, another No. 2412 Blue Striped Vista Dome Passenger car, the No. 2416 Santa Fe Blue Striped Observation car, and the No. 3428 Operating US Mail Car. Also, we have all the individual boxes, but no set box.

Although this is a beautiful set - especially the passenger cars - A couple of things to point out. The power unit is missing its front apron, and the decals are poor. The mail car looks to be missing the man inside. Engine runs strong. The boxes are in very good condition with one passenger box having some of its perf loose. All in all, a very neat set of Lionel trains. Please don't miss this set.
