High Grade Lionel 226E Locomotive w/ 2226W Tender

Here is one of my favorite Lionel Steam Locomotives - the Lionel "O" Gauge 2-6-4 No. 226E steam locomotive, with its matching No. 2226W Whistle Tender. Engine measures 10-3/4" long not including the couplers. This is the 1938 version with the nickeled journals on the tender and box coupler. The engine is in like new condition - as seen in all the pictures below. The engine has been tested and it runs well in forward and reverse and cycles beautifully. Lights up underneath. The whistle on the tender also works, with a true whistle sound. Can't find much wrong with this set. The only thing I notice is a minor paint flair up below the whistle on the engine - not sure if this wasn't factory. The tender is also extremely nice. This is the harder version with the white stamped lettering. I believe the pictures tell the story, however, if you have any questions, please ask. Thanks.
