Rare Harris Cast Iron Royal Blue Line Floor Train Engine Tender (2) Cars

Here is a cool looking piece. I love these cast iron floor trains, and this one is spectacular to see in person. And boy, this is an antique - made in the early 1900s. This set was called The "Royal Blue Line" Express. Made by The Harris Toy Company in 1903. This set includes the Cast Iron black 4-4- Locomotive & a No. 917 Tender, pulling a 1193 New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore & Washington Royal Blue Line Baggage Car (with fancy lettering), and a 1192 Passenger car, both with red orange roof and maroon on clerestory, blue bodies, eight wheels. The entire set measures a large 52-1/2" long. Each Passenger Car is 16-1/2" long. And the whole set is very heavy - weighing close to 20 pounds. Condition is very good for this early train. Other than some early paint wear, and minor oxidation, the set looks great for its age. I see that the cars are missing 3 sets of wheels (which can be found). Also, one of the cars rivet is loose and will need peening. This is a great piece, surely to be the focal point of any collection - don't miss. Thanks.
