Scarce Lionel Set # 2111WS w/ 671 Turbine, 671W Gray 2460 Aluminum Dump (DAKOTApaul)

Here is one of my favorite Lionel early postwar "O" Gauge Freight Sets. Set No. 2111WS - cataloged in 1946. A great looking set that features a No. 671 6-8-6 steam turbine locomotive and 671W Tender. The Engine pulls a No. 2460 crane with the tougher gray cab, a No. 3459 aluminum bin dump car, the No. 2411 flatcar with original metal pipes, and a No. 2420 work caboose with searchlight. All that is pictured below and in the many pictures you can view by clicking the link above. The trains are in excellent plus condition. The Engine with Atomic Motor is nice and clean - runs in both forward and reverse, and smokes. The tender is also nice and clean and whistled when tested. The freights are all in excellent and better condition as pictured. The gray crane has some minue marks on the shell, but its is set firmly into its frame. All mechanisms work well. A very nice aluminum dump car that shows just minor wear. Original pipes with markings on the flatcar.  Searchight works on the Caboose. This is one not to be missed for your collections.
