Lionel Uncataloged Set # 711 (1562W) Red-Stripe Passenger Set/Obs

This is one not to be missed. The uncataloged set No. 711 (or better known cataloged as 1562W) Passenger Set that Lionel made in 1956 only. This Set includes the No. 2328 Burlington GP Diesel with Magnetraction and Horn, the No. 2444 Red-Stripe Newark Pullman, two No. 2442 Red-Stripe Clifton Vista Domes and a No. 2446 Red-Stripe Summit Observation Car. Comes with a 6019 Remote Control Track Set, A No. 1053 60 Watt Transformer, some paperwork, operating manuel, CTC Lockon, eight pieces of curved track, and three straights, all Individual Boxes and the rare Set Box. All that is pictured below.

One of the better 027 Passenger Sets. Overall, this set is in excellent and better condition. The engine is very nice - some splotchy marks in the silver on the roof, and a few scratches as pictured below. Runs in forward and reverse. The Cars are also nice and clean with just a couple minor marks, mostly on the roofs. Silver tells the story - nice and bright. The Boxes are beautuful with all flaps. The engine box is brick still sealed on one end. Comes with its 1053 Transformer, original cord. The track set has brittle wires.  The set box is extremely rare and in great shape. Marked 711 on one end. Some tape residue, and a little skinning on the bottom corner, but nice and square and sturdy. Don't miss this wonderful Lionel Set. Thanks.
