Lionel Prewar Orange/Terra Cotta Set # 134 w/ 250 + 603 604 Passenger BOX

Here is a great looking set of Lionel prewar "O" gauge trains from 1933. This set features an orange No. 250 tinplate Engine with reverse, pulling (3) orange and terra cotta Pullman Cars - (2) No. 603s and the No. 604 Observation. Comes with its individual boxes and the No. 134 Set Box.

This is an unusual set, probably from the 1933/34 time period. When I researched this set, I found it is listed with a No. 252 Engine. However, I have seen this set with a No. 250 Engine before, and correctly stamped No. 294B inside the set box. Engine box is also marked 252 but came with the 250 Engine. The trains are all in excellent condition with some wear as pictured. The Engine ran well in forward and reverse. It is missing two handrails on one side. The Cars are also in excellent condition with a couple of minor scratches. The No. 604 observation has copper journals whereas the the Pullman's have nickel. The Engine box is missing an end flap. All boxes are nice and sturdy, but are missing some interior and coupler flaps. Set box is in very nice shape for its age, good labels. I believe the pictures tell the story well, however, please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
