Lionel Postwar No. 2358 Great Northern EP-5 Electric Engine

Here is a Lionel "O" gauge No. 2358 Great Northern EP-5 GE Rectifier Engine - made in 1959-60.  Heat stamped lettering. Orange and green painted body with three narrow yellow stripes. This engine is a hard one to find, and it looks very good - as you can see from the pictures below. Condition notes: Original shell with replaced decals. Decals are nicely done. Some marks on the shell sides, looks like a clear plastic residue - hard to see but it is there. Pantographs are original to the train. Both the headlights and number boards have been replaced. Clean battery area. The engine ran in forward and reverse when tested. I don't see any breaks or cracks on the shell. Overall, a nice train. Don't miss.
