Here is a desirable Lionel prewar O gauge chrome Silver Streak passenger Set No. 279E, circa 1935. The Set includes a No. 265E black 2-4-2 Commodore Vanderbilt steam locomotive with nickel trim, a No. 261TX tender with nickel trim and journals, a No. 619 Baggage and Pullman Car, a No. 618 Observation Car, and one vestibule. This is a nice looking set as seen in all the pictures. The Engine has replaced cab that is nicely done. Nice original paint and patina to the rest of the engine. The chrome on the passenger cars is bright and shiny with a couple of minor marks. When put on a test track the engine lights up and runs well. This is one for your collections.
