Rare Bing Gauge 1 4-4-0 Steam Locomotive Passenger Set in BOXHere is a great looking Bing Clockwork Steam Engine Passenger Set. Comes in a wonderful wooden box with French label on top. The Set features a Bing 4-4-0 I/48 loco with start/stop and forward/reverse levers and 4 wheel tender with battery connector that powers head lamp on loco. The Engine pulls three wonderful looking tin lithographed Passenger Cars with painted roof - the Express Baggage Car, a Wagon-Restaurant and Lits. Coach. All in compartmental paper covered wood box with French label. Overall, the set looks great, and I am not sure to its history. It appears that the Engine is missing one of its front head lamps, and it includes two head lamps that I'm not sure where they go. Missing its clockwork key. The Engine cab roof has some bends to it, and the front steam chests shows paint wear. The Cars look beautiful however, the Baggage Car has some paint touch-up on one side and I believe that the roof has also been repainted. The rare wooden box measures 20.5" x 27" and shows wear on the top, but is still very sturdy. A neat set that you won't see very often - don't miss, and please ask any questions.
