Lionel No. 2341 Jersey Central Train Master Diesel Engine

Here is a nice original Lionel "O" gauge postwar No. 2341 Jersey Central Train Master Engine. This is guaranteed to be original. Has the heat stamped lettering and proper markings. I believe that this has the glossy finish. The train is in very good condition - as seen in the pictures below. Both ends have the typical tiny hairline cracks coming down from the screws holes. The frame has some oxidation on the inside top deck that has been cleaned up, but it is there. Some oxidation on the battery cover, and inside the battery compartment. I believe it is under control and has not extended to the sides of the frame, but there are a few spots. The shell, overall, is a nice one, and looks to me to be a glossy version that is somewhat dirty. It does have some surface scratches in the roof that are only visible when turning from the light, so they do not come up in the photographs. Also, some minor oxidation on the rails as pictured. Runs in forward and reverse. One bulb is out. Overall, a nice example of this engine - don't miss.
