High Grade Lionel 226E Locomotive w/ 2226W Tender OB Master CartonHere is wonderful Lionel Prewar O Gauge Steam Locomotive - the Lionel "O" Gauge 2-6-4 No. 226E steam locomotive, with its matching No. 2226W Whistle Tender. Comes with its original BOXES plus Inserts, a No. 167 Whistle Controller - and the rare Master Carton. Engine measures 10-3/4" long not including the couplers. I would call this set in excellent plus condition - as seen in the pictures below. Shows very little run time and wear. The tender is the white heat stamped version. The engine has been tested and it runs well in forward and reverse and cycles beautifully. Lights up underneath. The whistle on the tender also works. The engine box is missing its interior flaps. The end flaps show wear. The tender box has all of its flaps, except on interior flap. Nice original insert. The Master Carton has a nice label. It is missing flaps on one end and has some writting on the other. I believe the pictures tell the story, however, if you have any questions, please ask. Buy with confidence - this is a nice one.
