Scarce Lionel No. 267E Black Top Flying Yankee Set - Nice!

This is the scarce Lionel prewar "O" gauge No. 267E Four Car Flying Yankee Passenger Set that Lionel made in 1935 only. Rare variation with Black-Top power unit and chrome top observation. This set includes the No. 616E Powered Unit, two correct "double door" No. 617 Coaches with Vestibules and the No. 618 Observation Car with Vestibule. The Set is overall in good condition - as seen in the photographs below. The Engine shows some wear in the chrome, and I believe the roof has been repainted. The Engine ran nicely in forward and reverse when tested. It looks to me that both roofs on the 617 Coaches have been sprayed silver. The side and bottoms look worn with marks in the chrome. The 618 Observation is in outstanding condition. It has some oxidation on the rear underside. One vestibule looks to have a replaced pick-up, the others are fine.
