Nice! Lionel Prewar # 763E Steam Hudson Loco w/ 263W Tender

Here is a very nicel all original Lionel No. 763E NYC Gun-metal Gray Hudson Steam Locomotive with its matching No. 263W Whistle Tender. This is a nice 1937 version. One look at the Engine and you can see just how nice this piece is -  no breaks or cracks, high gloss original paint finish, wonderful strong graphics, just a couple small paint nicks and general wear. Overall, I would grade this excellent. Runs nicely in forward and reverse. The Engine cow catcher runs closely to the third rail indicating a small warp to the frame. When on a flat surface the bottom of the cow catcher is about an eighth of an inch above the surface. The drawbar pin is a replacement. The tender is also in very nice original condition. Paint is nice, with only one small area on one side that shows some oxidation. Tabs nice and tight. Whistle worked when tested.
