Lionel 2219W "The Thunderbird" Set: 2321, 6464-50, 6462-25, 6456-25, 6415 & 6417

Here is a great set of Lionel trains - the No. 2219W Lackawanna Freight Set from 1954. This Set includes the No. 2321 Lackawanna FM Diesel with Dual Motors, Magnetraction and Horn, the No. 6464-50 Tuscan M & SL Box Car, the No. 6415 Sunoco Three Dome Tank Car, the No. 6462 - 50 Green NYC Gondola, the No. 6456-25 Gray Lehigh Valley Hopper and the No. 6417 Pennsylvania n3C Caboose. Comes with two Instruction booklets, individual boxes and the Set Box. All that is seen in the pictures.

This Set is in excellent and better condition - as seen in the many pictures. The Engine overall looks really nice, but does have the usual screw hole cracks on the ends. When tested the Engine ran in both forward and reverse. Clean battery compartment. The freights also look excellent with only a couple minor spots of wear. One little speck on the side of the Hopper. Caboose looks unrun. The Engine box has its original paper with a corner torn, and insert. The box is missing two interior flaps. The 6464-50 box is in poor condition and could use an upgrade, missing a flap. The other boxes are all very nice with little wear. A couple repaired flaps.  The original set box is excellent condition. It does have a couple wear corners and a small corner tear to one flap. Nice and sturdy box. This is a classic Lionel Set that should be a part of your collections. Don't miss. Enjoy all the pictures.
