Lionel Set # 2241WS w/646 Hudson 2046W 3359 6446 3620 + SET BOX

Here's a beautiful all original Lionel "O" gauge postwar train set from 1955 - Lionel Set No. 2241WS. Set includes a No. 646 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Locomotive with headlight, smoke, and magnatraction, with its 2046W "Lionel Lines" whistle tender. These pull the following freights - a 3359 operating Twin Dump Car, a black No. 6446-25 Norfolk & Western Covered Hopper Car, a No. 3620 Searchlight Car, and a No. 6417 Pennsylvania porthole caboose. Comes with all its individual boxes, a UCS track control set, paperwork, catalogs - including the 1955 Advance, uncut sheet of Billboards, and the very nice 1955 Set Box. All that is pictured.

Overall, I would grade this set excllent plus to like new. The Engine is in beautiful original condition. When tested it did run in forward and reverse.The Tender is just a nice. Whistled well when tested. The freights all look to be in the same type of beautiful condition. The Engine box is very nice with stamped "646" on the end. Blue graphics. The tender box brick-like. The 3620 box is the weakest of the group with a couple of repaired flaps. However, it has its cardboard insert. So does the 3359 Box as well as its bin. Great paperwork and catalogs. Even found the Christmas note from "Grandma, and Grandpa". The Set Box is also very nice with crisp graphics. Please look at all the pictures carefully, and ask any questions. Don't miss. Thanks.
