Lionel No. 2356 Southern F-3 ABA Units + BOXES - Nice!

Here is a collectible set of Lionel No. 2356 Southern F-3 ABA Diesel Engines plus their original Boxes with Inserts. Size is 12" not including the couplers. Made from 1954-56. This is a clean, very nice set - as seen in the many pictures below. However, it does has a few issues that keep it from grading higher. I will point out what I see. Most importantly, the engine runs well in both forward and reverse. The power unit is really nice, all porthole windows present. Shows little run time. The non-powered A Unit is also very nice. I do see small marks on one side. Battery compartment nice and clean. The "B" Unit is also a nice one. Some small age fade marks on the roof. Missing the Powered Unit Box, but it does come with its insert and Lionel paper wrap.  The "T" Box has tape throughout and shows wear on both ends. It does also come with its original insert and Lionel paper. The "B" Unit Box also has some tape on the ends and down one side. Original insert and paper. This is a nice set not to be missed.
