Rare Early Postwar No. 1666 2-6-2 Locomotive w/ 2466T Tender OBHere is an extremely nice early postwar "O27" gauge Lionel locomotive No. 1666 with a 2466T tender. Circa. 1946. Comes with its original BOXES with inserts. The loco measures 10" long and the tender measures 7-3/8" not including the couplers. This is the 1666 with the blackened railings and rounded back cab. The tender is marked 2466T and it has the black fibre board Flying shoe coupler. Both are in excellent plus condition - as seen in the pictures below. The Engine lights up and ran in forward and reverse when tested. The tender has no breaks or cracks in the shell, and looks really nice. The Engine Box has its original double insert. All flaps present. Has some residue on one side, and skinning on one end as pictured. The Tender Box is also complete with its insert.
