Lionel # 2190W 1953 Santa Fe Passenger Set/OBs 2353 AA+

Here is a very nice original No. 2190W Santa Fe Super-Streamliner "O" gauge Passenger Set that Lionel made in 1952. This Set includes the No. 2353 Santa Fe F-3 AA Diesels with dual motors, magnetraction and horn. Also, the illuminated aluminum passenger cars - the No. 2531 Silver Dawn Observation, the No. 2532 Silver Range Vista Dome, the No. 2533 Silver Cloud Pullman (plated Silver Bluff on the name plates), and the No. 2534 Silver Bluff Pullman. Also includes all the individual boxes with interior lining, and the Set Box. All that is pictured. Overall, this set has a lot going for it. I would say the engines are excellent but do have some minor wear and the powered unit has a few touch-up spots on the top red roof (see pics). Also, the decals have minor wear as pictured. No corrosion in the battery area. Inside is nice and clean. The Engine runs well in forward and reverse, the horn has not been tested. The silver and red are still bright on both. The passenger cars range all look very good. I believe that these have been cleaned, as the aluminum is bright and shinny. They all have the rivets attaching the name plates. Mostly clean bottoms and trucks. Interestingly, the 2533 is plated with the "Silver Bluff" name plates instead of the "Silver Cloud" nameplate. Don't know if this a factory error or someone changed the silhouetted window inserts. The Powered Unit Box is in good shape. Has some writing on one side. Includes a piece of Lionel Paper. The T Box is missing some flaps and shows skinning, tape and wear. All the Passenger Car Boxes include their original inserts. The 2534 Box is missing flaps on one end. The 2532 has one end with inside tape reinforcement. As, well as, one end on the 2533 and the 2531. Also, you can see some skinning on the flaps of a couple of the boxes. The set box overall is in very nice condition. Shows some weakness on the corners and top flap corners. One end has a stain. Overall, a great set of trains. Don't miss. I took A LOT of pictures for you to see all, and if anything is not apparent please ask. Thanks.
