Boxed Set 1949/50 'Two-City" Madison Heavyweight Passenger Cars 2625 2627 2628

Here is one of the most sought after Lionel postwar passenger car sets, circa. 1949/50. These came is the late "Two-Cites" BOX, however, these are the versions without the silhouetted passengers in the windows and the "L" in Lionel set to the left of the far left window. The set includes a No. 2625 Irvington Pullman, a No. 2627 Madison Pullman, and the No. 2628 Manhattan Pullman. All come in their original boxes with Inserts. All that is pictured below. Enjoy all the pictures as I tried to show all. 

As you can see, this set is in outstanding original condition. A nicely matched set, with only a couple small marks. Bottoms clean. All lit up when tested. The boxes, which are very hard to find for these cars, are overall in very nice condition. Nice and bright with all flaps and inserts. Most flaps have some tape either on the outside or inside as reinforcement. The 2627 box has some skinning. A great set - not to be missed. Please ask any questions. Buy with confidence. Thanks.
