Nice Pair of Lionel # 2353 Santa Fe F3 Diesels AA Units + BOXES NO RES (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a nice pair of Lionel No. 2353 F-3 Santa Fe AA units made from 1953-1955. Comes with their original BOXES and INSERTS. Size is 13" not including its couplers. The power A unit contains dual motors with Magnetraction and a three-position E-unit. The non-powered A unit contains a functional horn, which has not been tested. Condition is excellent - as seen in the pictures. The Powered unit has some minor paint wear in between the horns. Decal shows some wear. All else looks really nice. The Non-powered unit is really nice with very little paint wear. Decal also shows some wear like the powered unit. Engine was tested and it ran in forward and reverse and cycles through as expected. The units have their original porthole windows. Battery compartment is clean. The Engine box is nice and brick-like. Complete with insert. The "T" box has all its flaps and has some repair and tape reinforcement mostly on one end. Some skinning on one side. Original Insert present.
