J & E Stevens Cast Iron Chief Big Moon Mechanical Bank

Here is a great early cast iron mechanical bank from J & E Stevens patented 8/8/1899. It is called the "Chief Big Moon" mechanical bank. This is the harder to find version with the red base. Size is 9-1/4" high and 10" in length. The coin is placed in the slot in front of pond, press the lever, and as the coin disappears the frog springs from the water and the fish that the Indian Squaw is cooking is raised up. Condition on this piece is excellent, as seen in the pictures. No breaks or cracks. Arms with the fish is original. The frogs and ducks on pond all original. Worked when tested.
