Lionel Lackawanna Freight Set #2243W w/ 2321 Engine, 6464-300 BOX ++

This is the Lionel No. 2243W "O Gauge" Freight Set catalogued in 1955. This Set includes the No. 2321 Lackawanna FM Diesel with Dual Motors, Magnetraction and Horn, the No. 6464-300 Rubber stamped Rutland Box Car, the No. 6462-75 Red Painted NYC Gondola, the No. 6511 Flat Car with Pipes, the No. 3662 Operating Milk Car Set, the No. 6417-25 Lionel Lines N5C Caboose and a UCS Track Set. Comes with all individual boxes, some paperwork, billboards, and the tough to find Set Box. All that is pictured.

Overall condition of the trains is excellent - as you can see in the many pictures. The engine runs well in forward and reverse. Both ends have the typical hairline crack down from the screw. Battery compartment is clean. Some minor oxidation on the rails - but very little. Overall a nice engine. some minor skinning on one side. Insert present and well a a sheet of Lionel paper. The Rutland Boxcar looks outstanding. Shows little wear. Box has some flap issues on one end. Some tape residue and a repaired tuck flap. The No. 3662 Operating Milk Car Set is in very good condition. Car is super clean. Some wear to top of stand. Box has some repaired tears and some tape. Original insert. The 6462 is the painted version of this car -a nice car. Comes with its original wooden barrels. Box is very nice for this car. One tuck flap has been repaired. Has coupler flaps. The Pipe car and Caboose are excellent. Boxes in good shape. The UCS wires are still plyable. Billboards are 1955. The Set Box shows wear. A tear to a top flap. One interior flap was reattached to the box. Some general wear as pictured. I believe the pictures show all. Don't miss this nice Lionel Set form 1955, and please ask any questions. Thanks.
