High Grade Boxed Lionel 1950 Freight Set 2169WS w/773 2426W 3469x + SET BOXHere is one of the most sought after Lionel postwar freight sets - No. 2169WS, circa. 1950. And, this is in outstanding original condition. This set includes the No. 773 black 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Loco, and a No. 2426W whistle tender - that pulls a No. 3459x Coal Dump Car, a No. 3656 Cattle Car w/corral, complete; a No. 6411 Flat w/Logs; a No. 6456 Leigh Valley maroon Hopper, and A No. 6457 Caboose. All come in their original boxes with correct Inserts and a sheet of Lionel Paper. Also included in the set is a some smoke pellets, lube and tamper. Comes with some 1950 Instruction booklet, the "Railroading is Fun" poster, and inspection slips. All that is pictured. Enjoy all the photographs as I tried to show all. As you can see, this set is in outstanding original condition. Used little if at all from 1950. The Engine and tender are like new. The engine is as close to mint as I've ever owned. The engine box has its original Lionel paper and insert. The Tender box is also very nice. Nice and bright with a beautiful original Insert, two interior flaps needed repair from skinning to the sides (see pics). The Freight Cars are all really nice. Nice and bright with only a couple small marks. Bottoms clean. The boxes, which are very hard to find for these cars, are in excellent condition. Nice and bright with all flaps and inserts. One interior flap on the cattle car has been torn off, but other than that I can find much wrong with these. The Set Box is square and sturdy and the way you want it.
