Lionel prewar O gauge No. 255E Steam Engine w/ 263T Tender

Here is a a fairly hard to find Lionel prewar "O" gauge Steam Engine - No. 255E, with a No. 263T Tender with correct latch coupler - in gun-metal gray. The engine measures 11-5/8" not including its couplers, and the Tender 7-1/4". The engine runs in forward, reverse and lights up. It was a little finicky so a good cleaning/servicing is warranted. Typical with these it appears that the steam chest has been replaced. I'm not sure about the frame, but most of these do have replaced frames. Front cow catcher also looks replaced. The body is original. Does have some minor marks, but overall is really strong - as seen in the pictures. The Tender has the nice 6-wheel trucks with nickeled journals. The front of the tender appears to be repainted.  Not sure of the rest. My bet is that the base and the top is repainted and body original. Hard to tell, as this is an expert job.
