Nice! - Lionel No. 2545WS Norfolk & Western Freight Set 746 ++OBs

Here is a wonderful Set - the Lionel O gauge 2545WS Norfolk and Western freight set in original boxes and extremely hard to find set box. Set includes: No. 746 N&W locomotive, No. 746W long stripe tender with whistle, No. 6175 flatcar with rocket, No. 3419 operating helicopter car, No. 6650 missile launching flatcar, No. 3540 operating radar scanning scope car, No. 6470 exploding target car, and 6517 bay window caboose. This is the set that includes the No. 175 Rocket Launcher in original Box. The set comes with all individual boxes, some paperwork for the trains, 12 curves and (4) straight pieces of Super O track, and the rare Set Box. All that is pictured.

Overall this set is in great condition. The engine is excellent, with the tender showing just slight wear. The Freight cars look mostly UNRUN. The helicopter is unbroken. The rocket on the rocket car is original but does have a break as pictured. The Rocket Launcher is complete and in an unbroken state. The rocket is original and has no breaks or cracks. The Box to the Launcher has one interior flap that is replaced, and has some tape residue on the sides. Includes its one Insert. The Engine box is in fair shape with some staining and writing on it. The Tender box is missing an end flap. The car boxes have some repairs and some wear as pictured. Most tabs on the boxes are gone. The rare set box is worn and has some creases. It has been repaired down the corners and three of the flaps have been reattached. It is somewhat flimsy, but it is there! Overall, a nice set that is hard to find.
