Lionel No. 763E Hudson Steam Locomotive w/ 2226WX Tender +BOXES

Here is wonderful late prewar Lionel Hudson from 1939-42. It includes the great Hudson black semi-scale No. 763E Steam Locomotive with its matching No. 2226WX whistle tender with simulated knuckle coupler. Comes with original Boxes, Instruct Sheet, and some wrapping. This set is in wonderful high grade condition - as seen in all the pictures below. The engine cosmetically looks great. The engine has been serviced and runs well in forward and reverse. The frame looks nice and straight. Cab roof is nice with no bends. The tender is in almost like new condition. The whistle worked when tested. Engine box is correctly marked '39. Has a repair to one interior flap and some minor skinning on the label. The Tender box is missing flaps on one end, and some skinning and tape. Both interior inserts. I believe the pictures speak for themselves, and please ask any questions.
