Lionel Prewar Flying Yankee Train Set No. 267E 616E 617 SET BOXHere is a wonderful set of Lionel 'O" gauge trains from the 1930s. This is a "Flying Yankee" Streamliner Set No. 267E, which consists of the No. 616E Engine with (2) No. 617 Coaches and a No. 618 Observation. This is rare as it comes with its individual boxes and a very nice SET BOX. I think the condition is clear from the photographs - which is excellent plus. There is a couple of marks on the gray of the engine, and some wear to the bottom of one of the 617 carsr, but other than that, a very clean set. The chrome shows no corrosion. Was put on a test track and it lights up and runs in forward and reverse. However, the e-unit is somewhat sticky, as it will go into reverse well, but sometimes it won't go forward. With some patience it works fine. The Individual boxes have some missing interior flaps and some repair. The Set box is really nice with a strong label - some pencil writing on the front.
