Scarce Lionel No. 267E Black Top Flying Yankee Set 616 617 618 - Nice!

This is the scarce Lionel prewar "O" gauge No. 267E Four Car Flying Yankee Passenger Set that Lionel made in 1935 only. Rare variation with Black-Top power unit and chrome top observation. This set includes the No. 616 Powered Unit with Whistle, two correct "double door" No. 617 Coaches with Vestibules and the No. 618 Observation Car with Vestibule. The Set is overall in very good condition - as seen in the photographs below. Engine show wear on the black roof, but the chrome is in excellent shape throughtout. When tested the engine ran in forward and reverse. The whistle worked as well! The vestibules look to be in very nice overall condition - but upon close inspection, I believe that two have been replaced.
