Lionel Train Set No. 1423W w/ 1655 Loco 6654W Tender 6452 6465 6257 OBs

Here is a neat set that you don't see very often. It is Lionel O Gauge Set No. 1423W from 1948. It includes the rubber stamped 1655 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive with its No. 6654W Sheet Metal Tender. It is pulling the following freights - a No. 6452 Pennsylvania Gondola, a No. 6465 SUNOCO Tank Car and A No. 6257 SP Caboose. All these include their original Boxs and some inserts. The Engine and Tender are in excellent condition. Some minor paint wear. The Engine ran in forward and reverse when tested. The Tender also whistled. One wire underneath is loose. The Boxes on these Engines have some missing flaps. Nice interior linings. The Freights are also in similar excellent condition. Boxes also missing some flaps.
