Lionel Prewar Flying Yankee Train Set No. 267E 616E 617 SET BOXHere is a wonderful set of Lionel 'O" gauge trains from the 1930s. This is a "Flying Yankee" Streamliner Set No. 267E, which consists of the No. 616E Engine with (2) No. 617 Coaches and a No. 618 Observation. This is comes with its individual boxes (missing the 618 Box), an Instruction sheet, and a rare SET BOX. I think the condition is clear from the photographs. The Trains are in excellent condition. There is a couple of marks on the gray of the engine, and some wear to the top of the chrome on the engine, but other than that, a very clean set. The chrome shows no corrosion. As you can see, the engine needs some new wheels, and was disassembled to do just that. Engine runs in forward and reverse when tested. The two Individual 617 boxes are beautiful - as well as the engine box. Complete with no repairs. The Set box has a worn label and a flap is missing. The other flap has been glued back onto the box.
