Lionel Train Set No. 2227W, 2353 Santa Fe, 6356 6468 ++

Here is a nice set of Lionel "0" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 2227W from 1954. It features a nice pair of Lionel No. 2353 F-3 Santa Fe AA units. Also, included are the freights - No. 3562 Gray Operating Barrel car and Bin, the No. 6356 Yellow NYC scale-modeled Stock Car, the No. 6456 Red Glossy Lehigh Valley Hopper Car with yellow lettering, the No. 6468 Baltimore & Ohio Automobile Car, and the No. 6417 illuminated Caboose. Additionally, we have the Set Box and all individual boxes. Condition is as seen in the pictures - which is excellent. The 2353 Santa Fe's are beautiful. Red is bright and the silver still has luster. When looking at them closely, I did see a minor touch-up on the power unit's red top (possible factory touch-up). I took a picture, but if I didn't mention it you wouldn't see it. No corrosion in the battery compartment. We put it on a track and they run fine. The freights all are in very nice shape. The red glossy hopper has some scratches, and a dab of clear glue (?) on one side. The boxes are in good shape. The engine boxes have their interior linings. The T box is missing flaps at one end. The 6456 is missing a flap. Some of the other boxes have some tape. I think the pictures tell the story, and please ask any questions. Don't miss this set.
