Lionel Train Set No. 12710, 736, 6414, SET BOX Master +

Here is an extremely nice set of Lionel "0" gauge postwar trains. The "Bershire" - Set No. 12710 from the 1965-67 period. This includes the "White Set Box", and a rare Master Shipping Carton.

The set includes the No. 736 LTS "O" gauge steam locomotive, with its 736W "Pennsylvania" whistle tender. Both are in like new condition. Also, included are the following freights - the No. 6464-735 orange New Haven Box Car - the No. 6476 yellow Lehigh Valley Hopper - the No. 6414 Evans Auto Loader with (4) red cars with gray bumpers - the No. 6162 blue Gondola with Canisters - and the No. 6437 Pennsylvania Caboose. Additionally, we have the transformer in its white box - the White Set Box, Master Carton, and all individual boxes.

Condition is as seen in the pictures - all trains look to be in like new condition. The engine has a few paint chips on the back cab roof. The tender looks unrun, however, some oxidation is showing on one truck and in one corner of the bottom frame. The cars are all like new, except there is oxidation on one side of the bottom door railing on the 6464-725 Box car. The boxes are all in good to very good condition, sa couple may have previously gotten damp, as they have lost their pliability. I'd say the 6414 box is in the worst condition. The transformer has never been used, some oxidation showing on its bottom (minor). The set box has a stain on one side. I've never seen a master shipping carton for the set, but it is clearly marked.
