Lionel Early Postwar Passenger Set 2440 2440 2441 Flying Shoe Coupler DAKOTApaulHere is a neat set of early postwar Lionel Trains - from 194/47 - this is from Passenger Set No. 1402. It includes (2) No. 2440 Pullmans, and a No. 2441 Observation Car. Two of the the Passenger Cars have the "Flying Shoe" type couplers, and the wheels are thick axles. The other 2440 looks like it is has 1947 type trucks. All cars have the rubber stamped lettering. The one 2440 that id flying shoe has strong stamping, but shows wear on the roof. The other 2440 has weaker lettering but a strong roof. The Observation has some scrathes on the roof. Only one with window inserts. Only one currently lights up. A neat set of cars - don't miss.
