High Grade Boxed Lionel 1950 Freight Set 2169WS w/773 2426W 3469x + SET BOXHere is one of the most sought after Lionel postwar freight sets - No. 2169WS, circa. 1950. And, this is in outstanding original condition. This set includes the No. 773 black 4-6-4 Hudson Steam Loco, and a No. 2426W whistle tender - that pulls a No. 3459x Coal Dump Car, a No. 3656 Cattle Car w/corral, complete; a No. 6411 Flat w/Logs; a No. 6456 Leigh Valley maroon Hopper, and A No. 6457 Caboose. All come in their original boxes with correct Inserts. Comes with its 1950 Instruction booklet, and the dumpcar and cattle car instructions. All that is pictured. Enjoy all 72 of the photographs, as I tried to show all. As you can see, this set is in outstanding original condition. Used little if at all from 1950. The Engine and tender are like new. The tender is just outstanding. The Engine box is brick-like with ist original insert. still sealed on one end. The Tender box is also very nice. Nice and bright with a beautiful original Insert, two interior flaps needed repair from skinning to the sides (see pics). The Freight Cars are all really nice. Nice and bright with only a couple small marks. Bottoms clean. The ony issue is the flatcar missing a stake. The boxes, which are very hard to find for these cars, are in excellent condition. Nice and bright with all flaps and inserts. The Set Box is square and sturdy however it has some staining as pictured. A couple small repairs to the flaps. A great set - not to be missed.
