Lionel Set # 2145WS w/726 Engine 2426W 2411 2460 ++SET BOX

Here is a a hard set to find with its original Set Box - a Lionel No. 2145WS "O" Gauge Freight Set that was cataloged in 1948. This Set includes the No. 726 2-8-4 steam locomotive, the No. 2426W tender with whistle, No. 3462 refrigerator car, a No. 2411 flatcar with metal pipes, the No. 2460 Bucyrus Erie Crane Car, and the No. 2357 SP Caboose. This set includes all the individual boxes, as well as, its 1948 instruction booklet.  Also, it comes in its rare original Set Box. Overall, the cars are excellent, boxes show wear - as pictured in all 67 pics. The engine is extremely nice. Little wear.  It ran in forward and reverse. Nice strong graphics. The tender is just as nice if not better. Whistle works. The freight cars are also in excellent condition. The Engine box is brick with original interior lining. The Tender box has tape and some repairs on all flaps.  Freight boxes have some wear and tape for erpair on most flaps. The 3462 box is in poor shape with repairs. All but the 2460 Box have correct inserts when warrented. The set box has some staining and has had some flap repair. Nice and sturdy. Label is faded. Hard set to find - don't miss.
