Lionel No. 2356 Southern F-3 AA Units + BOXES Master CartonHere is a very nice set of Lionel No. 2356 Southern F-3 AA Diesel Engines plus their original Boxes with Inserts, lionel Paper and rare Master Carton. All that is pictured. Size of the Engines is 12" not including the couplers. Made from 1954-56. The Engine box is '4' , so this set is 1954. Condition of the set is excellent - as seen in the pictures. Roofs nice and clean. The engine runs in both forward and reverse, but will need a good cleaning. Horn has not been tested. All original portholes. Interestingly, please note that the non-powered unit has front grab rails. I have never seen this before. The Engine box is brick-like with a nice original insert. The "T" box has some minor flap repair, original insert. The Master Carton has its original store sticker on one end, and the stores tape on the box. Tape residue and some skinning as seen.
