Lionel Set No. 2148 WS w/ 773, 2625, 2627, 2628 Madison

Here is one of my favorite sets from 1950. This is Lionel "O" gauge Set No. 2148 WS. It includes the No. 773 Hudson Steam Locomotive with its No. 2426W Whistle Tender. Also, the (3) Madison Passenger Cars - the No. 2625 "Irvington", the No. 2627 "Madison" and the No. 2628 "Manhattan" lighted Pullman cars with silhouetted passengers. Condition notes: Overall this is a very nice set as you can see from the pictures. The engine and the tender are in better condition than the passenger cars, but I wanted to keep these together. The engine looks great! I put it on a test track, and it ran in forward and reverse. Other than a little wear, I don't see anything wrong with it. The tender is just outstanding and grades higher. Whistle works. The cars have some scratches, and one has a chip near the roof on one side (pictured). Please check the pictures carefully, and ask any questions. A cool set of trains, for the ultimate collector!
