Wonderful Lionel Set # 144E w/ 262E, 262T + 613 614 615 Pass. Cars OB

Here is one of my favoite sets of Lionel prewar "O" gauge trains. This is set No. 144 which features the No. 262E 2-4-2 tinplate Steam Locomotive with its matching 262T tender. Also, it includes the following terra-cotta and maroon two-toned illuminated passenger cars - the No. 613 Pullman Car - another No. 613 Pullman Car - and the No. 614 Observation Car. Cataloged in 1931/32. This Set comes with the individual Boxes, some track, and the rare Set Box. All that is pictured.

I've included many pictures for you to see the overall condition, which I believe to be excellent. The engine is in very nice original condition with only minor wear. The cow catcher is in a complete unbroken state. Includes its original white flags. When tested the Engine It runs in forward and reverse. The tender also looks very nice with only some minor wear. The cars are also in similar condition. Nice original examples with only a few minor marks. All handrails present. Clean trucks and couplers. Engine Box is missing flaps on one end. Original insert present. Tender box has a couple repairs to the flaps. The Passenger Car boxes are missing some flaps on one end as pictured. The Set Box is a nice one. Firm with no tears.
