Lionel Postwar Set No 1464W Union Pacific Diesels +Cars

Here is a very nice all original Lionel postwar set - No. 1464W, which features the all silver No. 2033 twin AA diesel engines. Included are the silver lighted passenger cars - No. 2421 Maplewood - the No. 2422 Chatham, and the No. 2423 Hillside Observation car. This 1953 set features Magna-traction with silhouetted passengers in the cars. Condition is excellent - as seen in the pictures. A few scratches keeps this from being excellent plus. Engine runs smoothly in forward and reverse. No corrosion in the battery compartment - it's nice and clean. No breaks in either apron. Decals around 98%. All steps present. Passenger cars look very nice. All light up. A few tiny scratches on the roofs, but in general very clean. You won't be disappointed in this set. Keeping the set together for one lucky bidder.
