Lionel 397 Belt Coal Loader with Yellow Generator & Light

This is an original Lionel early version of the # 397 Rubber Belt Coal Loader from 1948 with the yellow motor cover and the attached # 70 yard light with a bag of coal, instruction sheet, controller and reproduction box. This version is especially hard to find. The version with the blue motor cover is the common version. When activated the motor turns the rubber drive belt which loads coal into a waiting car. In addition coal can be dumped into the loader from a car. The # 397 can also be used in conjunction with the # 456 Coal Ramp. It measures 7 inches tall x 10 inches long x 7 inches wide.  The unit is in nice original condition - as pictured. The generator cover has a small hairline crack on one bottom corner. Also, someone attached a board to the bottom. The unit has not been tested. Reproduction box included. Don't miss. Thanks.

Price: $150 SORRY! SOLD!
