Lionel Prewar O gauge No. 255E Steam Engine w/ 263T Tender

Here is a a fairly hard to find Lionel prewar "O" gauge Steam Engine - No. 255E, with a No. 263T Tender - in gun-metal gray. The engine measures 11-5/8" not including its couplers, and the Tender 7-1/4". The engine runs in forward, reverse and lights up. I am not sure of the engine's history, so it is hard for me to tell if the frame is replaced or not. It looks correct to me, however, touched-up at some point.  The body and boiler front are original. Does have some scratches marks, but overall looks good - as seen in the pictures. The Tender has the 6-wheel trucks with nickeled journals. The front of the tender has chips on both ends. Not sure of the rest. My bet is that it has been repainted some time ago. Top has a paint chip. I took clear pictures for you to see all. Don't miss this really nice, and unique engine for your collection.
