Marx Army Supply Military Train 500 Tin Lithographed - 8 Piece BOXED SET

Here is a hard set to find - in any condition - from Marx Circa. 1930s. This is called the Army Supply Train. Marked on the side No. 5928. This includes all the pieces pictured, which consists of 9 different trains plus a Set Box with transformer and track. It includes the Electric Engine No. 500 and its Army Supply Tender. I put this on a test track and it lights up and did run in forward and reverse.  We also have a Searchlight Car, a Anti-Aircraft gun Car, a flatcar with Tank (working condition), the Radio car with antenna, Observation Car, and a rare flatcar with red Airplane. Comes with its original Set box that has some track and a transformer (which has not been tested). All that is pictured. Overall, condition is excellent - as pictured. The Engine and tender are just beautiful. So are most of the cars, particularly the airplane car. The Tank ran when tested with stong litograph. Some of the flatcars have minor wear. I believe that the Set Box is correct for this set, with the stamp very faint on the side. Inserts are for the most part replacements. Offering all together - don't miss.
