Wonderful Lionel "Vanguard" Diesel Freight Set # 13058 w/ 2383 F-3s OBs

Here is a set you don't see very often. From 1962 this is Lionel Super "O" Set No. 13058. Called the Seven Unit "Vanguard" Diesel Freight Set - this one is a beauty. The set includes the No. 2383 Santa Fe F-3 AA Diesels, the No. 3619 Reconnaissance Helicopter Car w/ red Helicoper, the No. 3413 Mercury Capsule Launching Car, the No. 6512 Cherry Picker Car, the No. 470 Missile Launching Platform in box, the No. 6470 Exploding Box Car, and the No. 6437 Pennsylvania N5C Caboose.  Comes with all Individual Boxes, individual paper work, and the rare Set Box. All that is pictured below.

The set is in excellent and better condition. It has been played with, as some of the components show a little wear. The 2383 AA Units are very nice. Some minor marks on the roof and sides, but overall very clean. Engine boxes very nice. One has some tape marks on an end flap. The freight cars are in great original condition, showing little runtime. The Helicopter has a small break in its tail. The Mercury Capsule Car is in beautiful, unbroken condition. Appears UNRUN. Has its parachute and original bands. The 470 Boxed set is complete with a nice box. All the individual boxes are in great shape. Set box has one side, and a small section underneth, that appears to have gotten wet at some point (see pics). This is a set not to be missed. Enjoy all the photos below. Thanks.
