Lionel # 773 "O" Gauge Hudson Steam Loco 1950 w/ 2426W

Here is a nice Lionel No. 773 Hudson Steam Locomotive from 1950 with its matching No. 2426W whistle tender. This is a large, impressive Hudson loco measuring 14-1/4" long. Condition is very good as seen in the pictures. I put it on a test track, and it ran in forward and reverse. Tender whistles. A couple condition notes: Looks as if the rods on the wheels have either been replaced or painted silver. The boiler front and the cow catcher are replacements. Looks to me as if the back right top of the cab has been straighted, but not sure. I also believe that the tender has been repainted and restamped. Those are my observations.
