Lionel 2243 Santa Fe F-3 Diesel AB Engines w/ BOXES- Nice!

Here is a nice set of Lionel 2243 F-3 Santa Fe A and B (sometimes called C) units made from 1955-1957. Size is 13" not including its couplers.  Overall, these are in excellent condition as seen in all the pictures. The engine ran well in forward and reverse. These are very nice but not perfect. I do see a couple small nicks in the red on the powered unit, and both units has some minor wear/rub marks on the silver roofs. Battery compartment clean. Small hairline in the "B" unit on one end from the screw. The BOXES are also in excellent shape. The "B" unit box is particularly nice for this set. Lining missing one coupler flap. Overall, a nice pair for your collections - don't miss.
