Lionel No. 2331 Virginian FM Train Master Blue Yellow - Nice!

Here is a Lionel "O" gauge postwar No. 2331 Virginian FM Train Master Locomotive. These engines were cataloged by Lionel in 1956-58. This is the blue mold - yellow painted version. Overall the engine has a great look to it. Nice and clean, with only minor wear (see pics). When tested the Engine lights up and runs well in forward and reverse. One end has the typical hairline crack from the screws. The a very small crack going upwards a little (hardly noticble). I noticed that three of the vertical railing are loose. The way you can tell is that the top section bends when touched (see pics). Clean frame and no corrosion in the battery compartment. Overall, a very nice engine. Don't miss.
