High Grade Lionel No. 2242 New Haven F3 AB Diesel Engines + BOXES (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a beautiful set of Lionel F-3 Diesels that you won't see very often in this kind of condition. These are the New Haven No. 2242 A and B units. Comes with their original BOXES, Instruction Sheet and Lionel Paper. I would call these like new - as seen in ALL the pictures. The powered unit looks beautiful. Appears UNRUN. The only thing I see is a faint mark on the hood, and a couple small marks. The best thing about these is the bright silver finish, and you just won't find these mark free. But this is pretty close. The battery compartment is clean. The non-powered unit is in similar condition. Nice bright silver and white. Low runtime on the wheels. The powered unit Box is sturdy and brick-like. Sealed on one end. The "B" Unit box has repairs to the flaps, prodominately on one end flap. Has some tape residue on the insides. Original insert in great shape. Comes with its instruction sheet, and Lionel paper. One sheet has a corner missing. I believe the MANY pictures give you a clear picture of how nice these trains are. A collector quality set.
