High Grade Lionel #2507W New Haven F-3 Freight Set 2242 6424 3444 + (DAKOTApaul)

Here is the No. 2507W Freight Set that Lionel made in 1958; a wonderful and hard to find F-3 set. This Set includes the No. 2242P/C New Haven F-3 AB Diesels with magnetraction and horn, the No. 6424 Flat Car with two automobiles, the No. 6464-425 New Haven Box Car, the No. 3444 Operating Animated  Erie Gondola, and the No. 6357 Illuminated SP-Type Caboose. Missing the the No. 6468-25 New Haven Double Doors Automobile Box Car, but box is included. Comes with Individual Boxes (missing the 2242B box), some paperwork, catalog, and the rare Set Box. All that is pictured in the many pictures.

I believe the pictures are clear as to the overall condition of these trains. Overall, I would call the set <B>excellent to like new</B>. The engines overall are high grade - as seen in the pictures. There is one scratch in the silver on one side of the A unit, and a few minor scratches on one side of the B-unit. Wheels show low run-time. Engine runs in forward and reverse when tested. The Freight Cars are all very clean - in like new condition - they appear unrun. The boxes overall are also in excellent condition. The A-unit box is crisp, one end still sealed. Some of the freight car boxes have some repair, and some have missing coupler flaps, but overall they look good. The Set Box is nice and firm, with strong colors. one top flap has been reattched with tape. A great set - don't miss - buy with confidence. Thanks.
